Fourth Vertebra
Proyecto,
POSTER
Tomihiro Hoshino was teaching physical education in Takasaki, Japan. During a gymnastics practice he injured his fourth cervical vertebra during a fall. He was paralyzed from the neck down. This poster is a typographical representation of the nine years he spent in the hospital where he discovered a talent for the paintbrush. Since he was paralyzed, he held the paintbrush in his mouth and painted beautiful images of nature.
