my name is Jose Ramirez Calamateo
I grew up in the farmlands of the Monterey Peninsula and moved to San Francisco for film school. I studied cinematography for the love of photography. Life does what life does, I had a son, and left SFSU to support my new family. During that time I had the opportunity to work with a group of talented designers from Macromedia. Their influence and friendship helped me to evaluate life. I returned to SFSU to complete a BS in Visual Communication with greater life experience and a family that inspires me.
